Our Story
Pickering Home Developments was built on hard work, dedication, and a love for the craft. Our founder’s journey began with an apprenticeship in carpentry, learning the trade from the ground up and gaining valuable hands-on experience. From there, years were spent working with an established company, taking on everything from detailed carpentry to larger building projects, and even running jobs from start to finish.
With over four years of experience and a strong foundation in both skills and leadership, we decided it was time to take the next step – starting a company of our own. Meet Josh Pickering
I am the founder and director of Pickering Home Developments. From a young age, I was passionate about construction, which led me straight into a carpentry apprenticeship after completing my GCSEs. I earned a distinction in my college course while gaining hands-on experience on domestic building sites. Since then, I’ve built a reputation for reliability and quality work, expanding our services and collaborating with skilled tradesmen to grow Pickering Home Developments into a trusted name in the local area.
